I just added some photo's to flickr of the Havasupai Falls hike that Randy, Chase, Kavika and I went on in July 08. We backpacked in, and camped for 3 days and then hiked out. We had a great time.

Jeremy Finally Graduated College

I (Jeremy) finally finished my BSB/A degree from UOPHX this past week. I first started going to UOPHX on 6/99 and just barely finished 9/08. So it took me almost 10 years to finish my last 2 years of my degree after graduating from Dixie College in 96.

Almost a year ago I realized that I was probably going to get laid off at some point, so I made it conscious effort to try and finish my degree as quickly as possible. Each class is taught over a 5 week period and over the last year I took 7 classes to finish.

I don't know for sure how much my degree is actually going to help me in finding another job at some point, that is when I decide it is time to get a job. For me, getting my degree is just another one of those accomplishments in life that you can check of your list and say I have done that. Plus it has been a great experience. I really enjoyed the online college format UOPHX offered.
